Carpenters striking blows
Permalink +Sat, Jun 28, 2003, 3:56 pm // John Servais
The carpenters' strike continued all day Friday - at St. Joe's Hospital and at several other large construction sites around Bellingham. Nada in the Herald, of course. All over Western Washington, sites are shut down. The strike is expected to continue Monday. The carpenters are striking to prevent losses in their health insurance program.
