Permalink +Sun, Apr 29, 2007, 3:03 pm // Site Management
Gene Knutson is pulling out of his bid for mayor of Bellingham. In an email notice, Gene said "It is with much sadness and a very heavy heart that I have to leave the Mayors race because of ongoing back problems." His back has recently started to give him more problems. Gene has two more years on the city council representing the 2nd Ward and expects to resume his council duties on May 7.
